On Saturday, November 8, 2008, several of our Young Marines turned out for the annual West Richland Veterans Day Parade. They looked very sharp in their uniforms and did a wonderful job of representing our Unit. It is always an honor to be a part of this parade, it helps show the community our support and thanks for all our Veterans, past and present, have done for our country. We were thankful that the weather held, it was a bit cool and lots of threatening clouds, but no rain during the parade. Whew!
Special thanks to Mr. Haeg for being there for our Unit, and to the parents for getting your Young Marines to the appointed checkpoint on time. This definitely makes the whole event less stressful for everyone. THANK YOU VETS!!!
