March 2008 Recruit Graduation

Another wonderful group of Recruits graduated from Boot Camp and have officially been recognized as Tri-City Young Marines! Congratulations! You should all be proud of yourselves, your commitment to our Unit, and your dedication on seeing this through to graduation. Welcome to our family!

We appreciate the patience and understanding of all the Recruits and Families during this Boot Camp. Due to the range of physical sizes, it was difficult to get all the uniforms required for all to graduate together. Patience paid off, and I must say, our newest Young Marines looked mighty awesome as they accepted their promotions and ribbons.

Benediction

Staff Member Mr. Tonda opens the Graduation Ceremony giving the Benediction. Mr. Carlyle and Mr. Haeg also pictured.

Ribbons

We had a great group of Recruits that along with being promoted to Private status, they also achieved their first Fundraising Ribbon. Our Young Marines Unit is a non-profit organization, so Fundraisers are extremely important to our existance and ability to be active with our Young Marines. OORAH YOUNG MARINES!

High PFT

Young Marine Private Simons received special recognition for having the highest Boot Camp Physical Fitness Testing (PFT) and the highest score on the written Private examination. Way to go Simons!

Honor Recruit I

Private Churches receives a special promotion due to his outstanding efforts during Boot Camp. He is now Private First Class (PFC) Churches. Congratulations!
